With more than 1,000 album credits spanning jazz, pop, R&B, dance, world music and beyond, Dave Darlington’s career has been defined by an unusually broad range of artists and projects.

From mixing Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter to working with Sting, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Khan and Phyllis Hyman, his work crosses decades, genres and generations. Along the way, that work has earned five Grammy Awards, international honors and numerous Grammy-winning and nominated recordings.

The recognition is gratifying, but the constant has always been the music: helping artists realize what they hear, and bringing each project to its fullest potential.
